It will be a story about how I tricked myself!
Back when I regularly drank ordinary wines, I occasionally enjoyed a glass of Doppio Passo Primitivo. So, when I saw this Primitivo Alternativa bottle, I got so excited, that I grabbed it and ran to the checkout without reading the label.
And I will not lie, Doppio Passo did an excellent job with this one. But it is sweet, and I don't like sweet red! I have no questions for the brand, they are completely transparent about it. Information about 7 grams of sugar is on the label in black and white, I just didn't read it.
What can we learn from this story? Even if you know the wine producer (especially if you know it!) don't forget to check the details of the exact bottle. And if you like sweet red, you should definitely try Doppio Passo Primitivo Alternativa! Even though personally I was not too fond of it, I value the approach and quality as high. It is a full-bodied alcohol-free alternative that impresses with its striking ruby-red hue and rich aromas of blackberries, ripe cherries, and blueberries.
