I guess, having a glass of hot spiced wine after a walk in the cold is one of the pleasures you miss the most after you give up drinking, along with the cold sangria during the summer.
The good news is that nowadays there is plenty of 0% red wine options, so we can have our Christmas Glühwein moments as well.
Here are some tips for making it perfect.
What do you need for Mulled Wine?
Dealcoholized red wine. It is important that wine was made non-alcoholic by dealcoholization technology.
Some tap water.
1 orange
Half of the lemon
1 apple
spices: cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and also ground nutmeg, ginger, and cardamom.
brown sugar if needed

How to make a non-alcoholic Mulled Wine
Peel the fruits and cut them into small cubes.
Pour a glass of water into a saucepan. Put fruits and spices into it and let it boil for 10 minutes.
Add a bottle of wine and sugar if necessary. Turn off the heat right before the drink will be ready to boil.
Lifehack: if you don't have 0% wine you can do the same with cranberry juice, it will also do the trick.
